Deferred: revisit local server distribution after commercial strategy #102
Description
Deferred by owner
A packaged local Conderis server and synchronization are postponed until the publication/licensing/monetization concept has an owner-approved direction. This is a holding task, not executable work.
Revisit questions
- Hosted-only, open core, licensed self-hosting or another distribution boundary?
- Which capabilities are free, paid or hosted-only?
- Required Windows/Linux packaging and parity with hosted MCP contracts?
- Is offline operation needed without sync; what actual demand justifies sync later?
Acceptance for unblocking
- Owner has selected the release/commercial boundary from #78.
- This holding task is explicitly rescheduled and split into implementation work.
Agent handoff
Do not package, publish or build sync from this task. Completing #78 does not automatically authorize local distribution.
Closure semantics
This child tracks a distribution decision, not delivery. Once #99-#101 are reviewed, record the owner's decision (including continued deferral) and close this planning child so #78 can finish. Any later local implementation requires a separately scoped task.
