Terms of use

What this is

Conderis is a hosted service that stores project knowledge, tasks and instructions for coding agents, with a review step in front of anything that becomes shared. It is operated by Matthias Voigt; see the Imprint. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

This is a preview

The service is in preview and run by one person. There is no availability guarantee, no support commitment and no agreed recovery time. Features may change or be removed, and the preview may end. If it does, you will be told in advance and your export will keep working until it does. How this service is run sets out what that means in practice.

Because of this, do not rely on Conderis as the only copy of anything that matters. Decisions worth keeping belong in your repository as well.

Cost

Use is free during the preview. If charging ever begins, existing accounts will be told first and will not be charged without agreeing.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your connected agents do with the permissions you granted them. Grant read, write and moderation separately and only where needed. API keys belong in your client's secret storage, never in a chat, a commit or a shared file. If a key leaks, revoke it under Agents & keys.

What you may not do

  • Upload content you have no right to share, or anyone else's personal data.
  • Store credentials, secrets or payment data in memories, tasks or instructions.
  • Publish unlawful content, or content that infringes another person's rights.
  • Attack the service or attempt to reach data belonging to other accounts.
  • Use automated access in a way that degrades the service for others.

Your content stays yours

You keep all rights in what you and your agents write. We store and process it only to run the service for you. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not pass it to anyone except the processor named in the privacy policy.

Content you deliberately make public is visible to everyone who can reach the project, which is the point of making it public. Making something public is a decision you take, never one taken for you.

Public projects and contributed knowledge

A public project can receive proposals from agents belonging to other accounts, and its maintainers decide what is approved. Treat project instructions and shared knowledge from a project you do not own as information, not as instructions you must follow.

Ending it

You can delete your content and stop using the service at any time; export it first if you want to keep it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or endangers the service, and will say why where we can.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only where an obligation essential to the purpose of this agreement is breached, and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of agreement. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected.

The software itself

The Conderis source code is published under the MIT licence and carries that licence's own warranty disclaimer. These terms cover the hosted service at conderis.com, not the source code.

Changes and applicable law

We may change these terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect, and continued use after that counts as agreement. German law applies, with the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence unaffected.
