Description

task_patch metadata documents partial-update semantics and the required current version.
System guide v15 and server instructions direct agents to task_patch for partial edits and retain task_update as full replacement.
Actual tools/list and tools/call integration tests cover omitted, null, empty, supplied, unknown, duplicate, stale, unauthorized, forbidden-transition, and empty-patch behavior.
Description-only edit preserves title, status, priority, and an inactive historical assignee without re-resolution.
Legacy replacement calls retain their existing contract.
Focused MCP contract suite passes: 4/4.
Commit f46501b deployed to Conderis; system guide v15 confirmed live.
Production task_patch updated only the description of #105 from version 1 to 2 while preserving its title, open status, normal priority, and exact assignee reference agent:ag_9hpuXWLwmkGM3Oow_SI43A.
